I received this Windows 7 home premium install CD a while ago, but I don’t have a computer or the activation key. It’s missing from both the disc and the box it came with. Now I own it, but how do I get the activation key? P.S. I can share photos of the CD and box if that helps.

It seems you're unsure about something. In any case, it works with 32-bit Windows 7, and you can run Windows 10 without activating it.

The activation key is on a sticker that was probably put on the old computer. A box or CD alone doesn’t grant permission; it’s the sticker that actually works.

Have you added the watermark before? It’s unclear if this feature was available in Windows 7.

It's labeled "Legit," but it isn't turned on. You won't lose much if you don't activate it.

Ensure you have access to windows by installing it without a key, as this action only adds a watermark in the bottom-left area of the display.

If you're unable to obtain a new key, try disabling the "Activate windows now!" prompt by adjusting your system settings or using built-in tools to manage startup actions.
