The cooler doesn’t come with a backplate, and I didn’t require one for the stock intel model. It’s possible it wasn’t included in the packaging.

It's an unusual problem, just two neighboring tabs open. I'll attempt to reinsert the stock cooler and check if the issue persists.

The stock cooler isn't responding and none of the tabs are fitting properly.

It seems the panel appears misaligned, possibly due to the thermal paste. Loosening those four screws might help align the holes with the pegs.

I attempted to loosen the screws but had no success; I’ll try again more forcefully. Here’s a close-up view:

I adjusted it further and it worked, here’s a photo. I’ll let you know if it starts up or not.

This indicates that at least one of the brackets was misaligned. If you don't secure them properly, the CPU may overheat. You'll encounter thermal throttling, so you should re-tighten them correctly this time.

I took apart and reassembled the cooler, making sure it was straight. It didn’t tighten completely, but it loosened less than before it stopped working. After restarting my PC and launching MSI Afterburner, I ran Cinebench for a short time—results aren’t ideal, though it’s better than the original cooler. I think I’ll fix the problem tomorrow. Should I consider replacing the thermal paste? Thanks for your advice.
