processor: i7 4th gen
cooler: intel stock
motherboard: z97
ram: 16 (2x8)
storage: 256 ssd / 1 tb hdd
i'm just checking if the psu is faulty

Even though it isn't the latest, it should manage your 1660 fine.

Although the PSU is still functioning, it's likely more than ten years old now. This is when you should start considering retirement.

The price of PSU in my country is quite low, and I'm on a tight budget. Is the Corsair CV550 a better option?

This unit was introduced a decade ago and has been used as an OEL for several years. I wouldn't suggest it.
