Hey, just received a used RTX 3080 MSI Sea Hawk. It's a hybrid model, but the radiator fans keep spinning nonstop. Temp is at 23°C and the GPU fan isn’t turning properly. No idea what’s happening? Drivers are installed and current. Got any suggestions?

Hi, I just got an RTX 3080 MSI Sea Hawk and the radiator fans are spinning nonstop at 2400 RPM. I can check the speed in Afterburner but can't adjust it. I had an older AMD card before, removed all drivers first and then installed Nvidia drivers. I tried re-seating the GPU, reset power cables, updated UEFI, updated drivers, and even uninstalled it via Device Manager. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I'm facing the same problem too. I downloaded Persion X1 and modified the fan curve! Should help.

I own a 3070 and it's the Evga FTW3 Ultra Gaming. I'm not sure if Persion X1 will fit with my MSI, but you can give it a shot.

I attempted it and it remains empty when you click on fan control. There seems to be an issue with the fan control, but it's hard to determine the cause or problem.

It seems the issue is unclear—whether it stems from the software or the card itself.

It's likely this card was used for mining, and the thermal paste or fans may be damaged.

The temperature is currently 25 °C, but it seems the cooling system might not be functioning properly.
