Not that 7600x wouldn't work, but for pure gaming 7800x3D would be the top pick if you can stretch your budget a bit, until 9800x3d (just a little better) it became the standard. It was the best in gaming back then.
The rest is fine, just ensure RAM is 2*16GB.

Thanks for the update, yes the RAM is 2 sticks, 16x2. Are you sure AMD is a good option for an upgrade? I’m considering saving some of my budget to get another SSD, specifically a 1 TB 990 Pro Samsung, which costs about 100 dollars. What do you think?

If your budget permits and you're crafting a gaming setup, consider the 7800x3d. It's one of the top gaming processors on the market today and will remain reliable for years. It also comfortably supports a more recent and powerful graphics card if you plan to upgrade your 3080 later. The 7600x is another solid choice to begin with AM5, but if performance drops, you can switch to the 7800x3d or 9800x3d. I once had to choose between upgrading my AM4 from 5600 to 5700x3d, a used 5800x3d, or moving to AM5 with the 7600x. The 5800x3ds were more expensive than the 7600x and not significantly cheaper than a new 7800x3d. I pondered this for weeks, saving money on the 7800x3d during that time. Now I feel confident about my decision and didn’t regret any expense.

Since you already have SSDs, especially SATA ones, a significantly faster SSD won't make much difference for games or general performance—just quicker loads. You can wait and improve things with the CPU instead.

Intel faced significant issues with the 13th and 14th generations. It's unclear what form these problems took, and having a warranty would likely be unavailable.

Interesting, if 7800x3d is tough to understand, do you have any other CPU options?
