I understand, I was planning for a Core 2 Quad but it wasn’t available. I’m using the one I currently own (Core 2 Duo 3GHz), and I can’t rely on eBay since it’s not in my country.

I understand, it's okay to be relaxed about it. For your PC, you could try some software updates or games that make better use of your GPU. If you're saving for a 16GB SSD, that’s a great step toward faster performance. Just keep experimenting and see what works best!
