I share your assessment. It's a typical, widely played title that targets broad appeal but lacks originality or innovation. The weak visual quality stands out as a significant technical issue for a game that could be considered artistically strong. Several design decisions feel arbitrary and detract from immersion:

- Level organization includes clear markers and checkpoints—remind us we're in an episodic format.
- Destroying barrels and crates for items seems inconsistent with the game's style; realistic item placement would improve the experience.
- Frequent checkpoint saves are odd for a survival horror title. They work better in action-oriented games like *Dead Space 3*.
- The creator appears to be stuck in the past, rehashing older concepts rather than evolving.

A more polished approach with fewer drop points and better item management would enhance the overall feel.

Console players are even more appealing in this way. IGN USA appreciates the game without any surprises. Braindead critics are straightforward to satisfy.

Many game reviews are no longer neutral or impartial. I believe we must acknowledge that their role in gaming has faded, at least slowly, making it risky to depend solely on YouTubers whose perspectives aren't entirely unbiased.

It's essentially Resident Evil 4 with a stealth twist. Those who truly enjoyed the original RE4 are likely to appreciate this version, though I personally didn't. I'd have been tempted to give it a try if it had a good PC release, but Japanese developers seem indifferent.

It seems the classic "escape from the monster" survival horror style is shifting from indie to big-budget titles. I don’t find it as engaging. I’d prefer games with a stronger focus on fear, like FEAR, rather than titles such as Amnesia.

Accepting a widely known truth can be challenging, particularly when influence has diminished. For YouTubers, making general claims about them is tricky since they operate differently from traditional media. The best approach is to connect with reliable sources who can provide accurate information through thorough investigation.
