after 18h of playing i like the game. my first fallout game as well. main story is decent no more than that though. sidequests are cool, the world has lots of things to do in it but sometimes i find the world a bit too dull for my liking

It varies from person to person... You might encounter issues in the game that become apparent as you progress. Also, Fallout 4 isn't ideal for AMD GPUs, just to mention that.

The withcher 3 was being worked on around the same period. It hasn't been developed since Skyrim launched, as they concentrate on one major project each year. The visuals aren't up to standard for AAA games in 2015. It's strange that a Call of Duty title looks better.

I still don’t grasp how people form their opinions about something good. Do you know what it takes to create this? How difficult and challenging it is to develop a game? Plus, most major companies limit the art team’s creativity so players can enjoy it even on low-quality hardware. Bethesda and id software have been doing this for a long time. There are many factors involved in these decisions. Simply pointing out something looks bad without explanation doesn’t matter unless you provide detailed reasons. If you just say something is ugly but can’t explain why, you miss the point.
