Have you looked at the plastic wrap on top? Have you put fresh thermal paste back in place?

You should upgrade your cooling setup because your temperatures are getting too hot. You might consider buying a new power supply rated at 1000 watts or more for your computer. I have used 1000+ watt power supplies on my systems for many years without any power problems at all. OVERCLOCKING causes high heat unless you have enough cooling space. Why would you want to overdrive your PC? Please check the system specifications and run it using the settings it was intended for. The difference in gaming performance is very small. Just a piece of advice from someone who has been building PCs for 61 years. Cheers, success on your side!

The default mobo settings don't matter at all. You need to check the CPU tab inside your BIOS. If those settings are set to auto, just run through each one and see what numbers they show up as. That is where you can actually find very high temps. The only way to get those hot temperatures while gaming is because of something wrong with your cooling or because you overclocked it. Also, gaming uses mostly single core work compared to computer benchmarks. In a benchmark test, all cores get pushed hard at once. But in real games, only a few cores are working at a time, so they can't push themselves as hard as the rest could. That means your cores hit high temperatures just enough to crash without being overworked like in tests.

Here are all the CPU settings I can find: https://imgur.com/a/sQX0feC Check that link out too. Do you need anything specific pointed at? Most of these auto choices just have on or off buttons. I use HWMonitor and the individual core temperatures don't go past the package temperature.
