This update from Microsoft aims to ease server pressure. I’m not set for a change within the next year.

Some problem here, but I had this for the last 2 weeks more or less, first with Windows 8.1 and now after the update to windows 10 the problem remains. Like in your case, I have: 1) Disabled wake up timers 2) Disabled the checkbox for "can wake computer from sleep" from all devices, including razer mamba AND mamba dock (powercfg /devicequery wake_armed give an empty list back) 3) Disabled wake on lan from bios Like you, if I type powercfg /waketimers on cmd get only this: \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer\TeamViewer_Service.exe (TeamViewer) What I don't understand is: how I find this on scheduled tasks? I'll try uninstalling teamviewer, but it really bother me I there isn't a way, in the scheduled task utility, to easy find tasks by name or filter of the kind of "all tasks that wake pc from sleep"..

Likely involves Intel Smart Connect or related features. My Z87i Deluxe would wake up unexpectedly even when powered down. Turning off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi helped, but updating the BIOS didn’t resolve it. After checking many sources, enabling the ErP Ready setting fixed the issue. Your Gigabyte board BIOS might have a similar setting.

Is the USB device connected? Exclude the mouse and keyboard. If not, detach the device, shut down the system, and unplug the PSU cable. Release any remaining power by pressing the PC power button, then reconnect the PSU cable and restart the computer. Check functionality.

Uninstalling TeamViewer helped, but I’m still trying to understand how to maintain it without waking my computer. This issue has been happening for a few weeks now, and I just installed Windows 10 only five days ago, so it shouldn’t depend on the OS version. The main concern is that some software can still trigger the system even after disabling wake timers, and the Event Viewer displays “no source.” How can an operating system be unaware of such activity?

Perhaps nothing at all, but I own a Gigabyte H97N Wi-Fi. Last night I updated the BIOS to version F7. I’m not sure if there’s a connection, but if those commands from powercfg /devicequery wake_armed and powercfg /waketimers return blank results, maybe that’s the only clue.
