Whenever I start a game during a Discord call, most keyboard keys become unresponsive and need to be pressed again to work. When I join the same game without being on Discord, the keyboard returns to normal. This issue appears only within games, not outside of them. There seems to be no solution yet, as this has never happened before.

Mostly all games, I also saw this when I played ones with high FPS. My keyboard is the Redragon Kumara. I don’t have any custom key settings.

When you launch the game prior to opening Discord, the system initiates a specific sequence of actions.

It's completely normal, no lag, nothing.

Start by opening the game, then proceed to Discord.
This might not be the best approach, but sometimes it's just what we need to do.
Discord could have a bug that will be fixed quietly, making the order of opening them irrelevant.
In the meantime, stick with the usual way.
That's all I've thought about it.

The issue isn't with Discord itself. It's just that I assumed you were referring to joining a Discord call before entering it.

Three possible situations:
Gaming without any issues - fine.
Gaming with Discord active - fine.
Gaming while Discord is running and joining a call - PROBLEM.
You can modify or adjust my scenarios as needed.
Consider checking Reliability History/Monitor to identify any error codes, warnings, or events around the time keys become stuck.
Other tools like Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer might help uncover changes when keys get stuck during gaming in Discord or while joining a call.
It may require some testing and adjustment to observe what happens.
If no obvious issues appear, reinstalling Discord could fix the problem.

I've also seen this when a game or something is consuming a lot of CPU/ram. (I have an i3-3rd gen CPU and 12GB of RAM.) I think the issue lies with the CPU and RAM being used heavily.
The reliability monitor doesn't show any errors, but there are warnings about information events from my games or Discord. In Task Manager, it seems most of the time when I open a game, it uses almost always over 80% of either CPU or RAM. This has been happening for a while before this problem.

How is the RAM set up?
Modules and slots – follow the installation instructions in the motherboard User Guide/Manual?
System specifications?
= = = =
80%+ ......
It’s possible there are extra or even unwanted processes running in the background.
Open Task Manager and Resource Monitor to see which processes are using CPU and RAM.
You can also use Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) for more details.
