Hi there, I'm looking for help. Yesterday I was using my PC normally while watching a friend play on the second monitor. Suddenly, weird glitches started happening and I couldn't move my mouse (even though the audio still worked). After resetting the computer, now I have no display at all. I checked both monitors and they seem to work fine, so I'm really confused. I tried different cables and slots for the GPU, but nothing helped. The card is like 6 months old, so maybe it's just that? I'm out of ideas trying to fix this, thank you!

What is your reset button. Did you try to restart things?

Hi, I turned it off by pressing the power button because it got stuck on and kept freezing me.

Have you got a cheap graphics card to use for checking things out?

We are using the 1050 in our computer. I'll give it a shot to see what happens. Last year, we had a faulty 6800xt and got a refund for it. Then I bought this new 4070 super as a replacement. Now things aren't working well again. Part of me is worried that maybe the power supply is broken or something is making these GPUs fail.

That NZXT PSU looks pretty good, especially when it comes to certification and how much power it can handle. But honestly, I don't have a lot of specific info on how solid that build really is right now.

The PSU is actually more than four years old now and came from my old setup. I'll let you know what happens after I've tried out the new graphics card.

Hi again. I started the computer using an old GTX 1050 graphics card that my family has. It started up with zero problems. I think this means it's my graphics card. If that is true, thankfully I have a warranty to get a replacement if needed. But just want to make sure. Then I switched back to my original graphics card to check if the issue was from reseating or not and no display appeared. So now what? Is it my gpu?

I guess the 1050ti doesn't need a power cord? I can't even picture that old computer with its bad card getting run by a decent supply. Maybe you should buy one of those cheap testers just in case, unless you have an easy way to check voltages or temperatures. It feels weird that two cards stopped working but we don't know why yet. Are your power lines steady? Is the heat okay? Do I need to spend ten bucks on a tester so I can feel sure things are fine? These testers aren't magic, but if they show something is wrong then it's probably time to change them out.

Oh, sorry if I got mixed up! We have two graphics cards: one mine and one belonging to the family. My card is the new 4070 Super with all the details listed. The other one from the family was old and had only a 1050 Ti (I think that's what you meant by "1050" without specifying, maybe it was an older card or just a different model), but there were no cables for it. I took the old card out of my PC, put it into my setup instead, and everything worked perfectly. Then I went back to use the original 4070 Super, but now my monitor shows nothing on screen.
