I just received a T430s but my request for the Wi-Fi password was denied because the stepdad lost the stickynote and doesn’t want to reset it. I’m wondering if I can configure the Wi-Fi manually—like positioning the device near the router or using button inputs on the router—to identify the network and set up the password myself.
I thought the same thing—just give them a call and request it, but it doesn’t seem worth the time or effort compared to simply resetting it.
You can retrieve the password directly from a Windows machine that is already connected. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...f1429cb678
