I'm checking fiber optic converters like the one you mentioned. Do they support simultaneous data transmission and reception?

They definitely need full duplex. The main aim is switching from traditional formats to modern ones like fiber to Ethernet. I set one up in a workplace last week: https://www.fs.com/products/35333.html

The specifications indicate it supports full duplex operation, meaning it can send and receive data concurrently, similar to standard Ethernet.
