Hey everyone, I'm going to build a PC, but when I try to use the Asus ROG Strix B550-A Gaming it says this: Note: NZXT H710i ATX Mid Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, but the Asus ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard does not have sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Gen 1 headers. The case USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port will not be usable. Is there anything I can do to the USB-C on my case, like get a splitter \ adapter or internal thunderbolt card which I will wire to front panel?? Please let me know, how to resolve this!! This setup includes six USB ports in total, as described on the NZXT website. It features two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB Type-A plus one USB Type-C. The Mobo Front I/O Ports are listed on the ASUS website. All components fit together.
Posted 3 hours ago I'm confused, it should work. The description mentions compatibility with NZXT and ASUS sites. It lists several ports and types, so it seems the setup is supposed to fit.
The Strix B550-A lacks a USB-C connector. You might be confusing its design with another model.
The URL seems to have an extra line about the rear port being labeled after the front ports. Check the board images to locate the USB-C header.
