You can upgrade from Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 10 64-bit for free, but consider if it’s worth it. This should work if your system meets the requirements.

As a gamer (profile name), it’s definitely worth it because DX12 Windows 10 is free to upgrade for Win 7+ users during the first year of release. Edit: I don’t think you can upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit—it mostly depends on whether Microsoft will allow a clean install.

It's worth mentioning that switching from a cracked Windows version to an upgraded one won't instantly give you a fully legal copy. (source) Upgrading from 32-bit to 64-bit is generally beneficial, especially with more than 4GB of RAM.

You might receive only the 32-bit release, not a full version yet. Worth it at 500% – it’s available around June.

I've been running Windows 10 on my overclocking setup since the tech preview came out. My Windows 7 setup keeps getting messed up from Microsoft, so I've switched to Windows 10 without any issues. Plus, Cortana isn't working yet—great!

Win 7 works fine now, though it might still have some minor issues. It's a more stable operating system compared to Win 7. Edit: Choose the 64-bit edition instead of 32-bit, since that's what you're using.

Can I run BF3 on Windows 10? I have a 32-bit version of Windows 7 with the original disc, but I don’t have the license key. The issue seems to be related to that.
