Are you receiving a fresh setup from the upgrade? (For example, are Windows 7 files still present on the SSD/HDD?) And does your data transfer automatically after installing the upgrade?

I'm not completely confident about Windows 10, but I did get a clean install of Windows 8 using their upgrade tool. They asked if you wanted the ISO file, which I then installed on my USB drive for a fresh setup. However, it mostly depends on how Microsoft intends to proceed—if they’re via an update, the chances are low.

I'm not sure if I've set up any of my Origin titles yet (EA usually complicates switching devices). Still, it seems like a fresh install of Windows 8.1 should work.
