Microsoft abruptly stops providing the Windows 10 November update through the Media Creation Tool
Microsoft unexpectedly stopped providing the Windows 10 "November update" via the Media Creation Tool. The tool, which let users download ISO files for the update (also called version 1511/build 10586), began offering building 10240 again instead of the new release. Microsoft also revised its instructions, clarifying that these downloads can no longer be used to upgrade to the November version (1511). Ironically, the company had previously suggested using the tool for installing version 1511, but now it explicitly states this will no longer be available.
I've gathered the entire content and applied the auto color setting as requested. Let me know if you need any adjustments.
Luckily I had the ISO ready before and managed to set it up on two different computers. This change is huge—it dragged down the download speed because of slow internet, and the installation itself was a pain, especially when trying to apply it across several machines. You could just do a clean install with the update using the ISO instead.
The process doesn't rely on home network P2P file sharing for Windows updates. I might be mistaken.
