Micro-stuttering in CS:GO, not smooth at 240hz?
Hey, I own an i5 12400f CPU, 16gb RAM at 3200MHz, a HyperX Renegade with an RX 570 XFX 8gb, Kingston M.2 SSD Gen 3, and an Alienware AW25 240HZ monitor.
I’m aware I might be facing a GPU bottleneck, but since CSGO is mostly CPU-based, it shouldn’t impact the game much.
Currently, I get around 300-700 FPS, 240Hz in CSGO, but it feels quite stuttery and jittery—it’s not smooth.
Anyone have suggestions or solutions?
Thanks!
Consider using v-sync or enhanced sync in your preferences. Alternatively, you might attempt to cap the FPS to match your monitor's refresh rate inside game settings if possible.
This appears to be a frame pacing problem, often resulting from numerous factors that aren't easily resolved. However, it can be addressed by establishing a frame rate limit just slightly lower than the monitor's refresh rate, targeting the minimum acceptable frame rate.
