I hope everyone understands this because it's been ongoing for a while now. What exactly is 'Metro Redux'? - It refers to the practice of developers taking a substantial fee for an existing game that has been available for a long time. In truth, they claim they've updated certain aspects of the game and made improvements in some areas, such as better physics engines. I've seen this firsthand. You can explore it yourself here – Metro 2033: Metro Last Light. My thoughts - I've played the original Metro titles and really enjoyed them. They offered a solid experience. However, they made deliberate changes, as shown in the first video. Personally, I don't think it's improved anything; instead, it removed the unique feel the game provided. It was meant to be atmospheric, but they've eliminated that quality. There was also a medic from TF2 included, which seemed odd to me. Overall, it felt like a straightforward attempt at cash-grabbing. I'm familiar with CD Projekt, the creators of The Witcher series, who have reworked many elements for both their first and second games at no cost. It's impressive how much they've changed things. Why can't they apply similar efforts to Metro 2033? If they truly cared about their audience, they would do this kind of work. The team behind Redux has issued a statement on the matter recently, but I didn't like it at all.

If you had those previous titles, the cost is around £17 for the set. They also updated the game and improved the graphics, though it took them some time. Their hard work deserves recognition, right?

Lol what's up? You're upset about the foggy weather? Hope you get it—2033 was one of the least optimized games for PC, and the Redux update was meant to help. Also, did they really port the whole thing to their new engine? That’s a huge effort you can’t just recreate in the old version.

I'll purchase 2033 units of Redux, excluding Last Light Redux.

I didn’t raise any issues—it was misty, and I appreciated the original’s foggy vibe. It added a sense of emptiness to the scene.

I genuinely dislike Metro 2033. It felt extremely bleak, and I only played for six hours before I wanted to hear the intro of Fade to Black repeatedly.

It might seem odd to think someone should get extra credit for maintaining a game they've been selling for years. It's similar to suggesting a patch exists to fix problems, even though the game itself is already broken.
