It overheats and shuts down in under 30 seconds after powering it on. Bios is version E7D13AMS.140. hx850 Corsair PSU. also getting cpu fan error. It is watercooled and has the pump connected to the pump header on Mobo and has a case fan connected to CPU fan header. Iv tried swapping those around several different ways. I have also completely taken the entire PC apart. Cleaned it. And rebuilt it making sure everything was seated correctly. I don't have access to another computer so not sure what options I have in terms of bios changes. Bios should still be the same it's been the entire time iv been using the PC. Not sure what caused the issue. Was working like normal. Left it on but with user lock screen up like usual and when I came back to it it was off. Not sure what I'm leaving out. I'm sure there's a lot. Please help asap. And thank you really.
Avoid using cooler if it stops working within a minute, swap it out.
It seems the device is quite old. Make sure your pump is operating correctly. You might want to experiment with various fan headers for the pump and fans. Adjust the fancurve settings in the motherboard configuration. Given the rapid shutdown, it’s likely your pump is faulty. Check the CPU block for any movement or vibration; if none, it’s probably dead.
Check if the pump is connected and operating. Identify the header it uses. Observe the RPM readings.
It seems the device isn't functioning properly, and I'm not sure if it's even working at all. Right now, saving money isn't an option for me, so finding a solution without buying new parts is my main priority. This particular AIO model can be refilled, and I'm up for tackling repairs myself. I'm wondering if it's possible to fix the pump, and if so, what steps would be needed. If not, using an old CPU heatsink and fan from a previous PC might work if I can secure a solid connection.
Also yes, that's it. It seems I probably missed it and thought it was MSI because I wasn't expecting Corsair.
If it keeps going this way, inspect for any plastic film at the bottom of the cooler or block where it touches the chip. These can easily be overlooked and might cause overheating if left behind. Simply remove, reposition, and you should be good to go.
If it can be refilled, you may attempt draining it, using a cleaning solution (specifically for water cooling loops), and then refilling.
