Hello!
I recently assembled a new PC about a month ago and downloaded several modpacks via Twitch. On my previous machine, those same modpacks worked smoothly at around 60 frames per second. Back then I used an older system (ATHLON X4 845, 6GB DDR3, GTX 750TI) that handled them fine. Now, with my current setup (RX 580, 4GB RAM, Ryzen 5 2400G, 8GB DDR4 3200MHz), the modpacks are running at about 5 frames per second in the lowest game settings.

I checked Task Manager while running one of them and noticed the GPU was at 99% usage, CPU at 30%, and memory at 70%. I suspect this might be a driver issue or compatibility problem.
I plan to try downloading modpacks through another downloader to see if the performance improves.
Thanks!

mods on minecraft are known for their poor optimization, yet your GPU seems to be under strain. It might be due to incorrect monitoring settings. You could try checking the system with Task Manager to see if it's misreading hardware usage.

I already have the MSI afterburner installed, I’ll attempt that now, but I’m unsure if I need to pause the game for GPU, CPU usage, and other details—if I do, it might take a few minutes.

Usage increased slightly since multiple programs were running alongside Chrome.

The modpack operates smoothly at 40-70 frames per second before that point.

Given the size of the modpack, it's reasonable to assume high GPU utilization is possible. I've seen similar setups with my 1070 running several demanding modpacks while maintaining around 70-80% load stability.
