Updating the details now. Achieved 3.9ghz at 1.3v, but experienced crashes at 4.0 at both 1.3v and 1.35v. So I lowered it to a stable point where I’m confident it runs—3.9ghz with 1.3v. Is 1.3v sufficient? Yes, the peak reached around 66.5c with Ryzen Master and Cinebench R15 open. Ryzen does add some CPU load. EDIT: Managed a steady 3.950 Ghz at 1.35v. Looks consistent with other Ryzen 2700 overclocks. Thanks for the guidance! Please let me know if anything seems off—based on what I read, it’s solid. Temperatures stayed under 68°C after multiple Cinebench R15 runs. Overall, I’m really satisfied with this setup!
Keep going, you have a lot of room to go. I managed 2700x up to 4.2 at 1.3875v using the 4.2 board. When I tried the B350 version, I thought my VRM might struggle. The sweet spot for top clock speeds on Ryzen is usually around 1.4v, after which further gains aren’t really worth the strain on the CPU.
