Your connection speed is really poor. I’m getting 150 Mb/s both ways, but there’s still lag and occasional stuttering (like pingspikes). NOTE: the 128 tick servers are user-created and tend to be less reliable, regardless of your internet speed.

Your connection seems quite sluggish. Are you sure this isn't a joke while your friend is running 128 Tick with a 20ms delay and 50Kb/s upload?

Ensure your in-game settings match the requirements. On console, typing net_graph 1 will display the uplink and downlink rates. Look up the correct configuration for 128 ticks when playing.

Net_graph 1 is active, and because I don’t remove it, the tick counts shift between 64 and 128 based on the server. I’ll still look to see the rates.

Certain configurations control the data size sent each tick. If the value is excessive, your performance may fail and the connection breaks. On the other hand, setting it too low means you won’t get enough bits to update the game quickly enough.

The settings I provided don’t seem to resolve the problem. I encountered issues accessing the server, with a high ping of around 900ms and freezing afterward. The performance dropped noticeably when switching from ADSL to fiber, which seems to be the cause.

My download rate used to be 600kb/s and around 0.20 on 128 ticks in CSGO. This would occur for you too—need better internet (I now have 100 down and 10 up). Try different locations like ESEA, CEVO, FaceIT.

Have you updated your modem or router recently? This might also cause a problem.

Two routers involved, meaning the problem isn't here since the ADSL and fiber lines need separate connections, and both lines encounter the same issue.
