As I said, my friend has a slower upload than me and plays on these servers no issue. So if that is the case, then there is something wrong.

Final option: accept your 64 tick disadvantage and switch to 64 tick in 128 tick servers. Alright, Hitreg will feel less effective, but honestly, pros might just shift the blame to tickrate if it’s not working.

The only reason why I want to play 128 Tick is because that's all we get for community servers here, no one hosts a 64 Tick servers for bhop or anything, so I'm stuck with the normal game which isn't a bad thing, but I've noticed on the Fibre I have higher ping than ADSL, but the Fibre is more stable.... What a lovely waste of my money.

Correct values are 128000 cl_cmdrate, 128 cl_updaterate, 128 cl_interp, 0 for interp ratio, and 1.

Since we moved to glassfibre, my laptop's internet performance is poor. It often fluctuates between good and bad connections. New networks don't always improve things.

The distinction lies in how tick and pro's blame tickrates are calculated, with variations depending on the source (e.g., [1]). Citation: [1]

I know there's a difference: server updates twice as much lol Howeverrrrrrrr, i can quote. When Summit1G plays matchmaking (regular CSGO), he often says 'THAT WAS A HEADSHOT, THIS IS WHY I DONT PLAY MATCHMAKING, IT SUCKS'

Take the summit as an illustration when he becomes frustrated. Plus, he’s currently streaming, which means he’s likely a former player.

Are you referring to kilobytes or kilobits in your internet discussion? Also, I’d say it’s your internet connection. When I used 6 megabits, I experienced stutters and unstable ping, which improved to 16 megabits. Honestly, I was at around 300 ping during streaming and had about 300 kilobytes per second upload remaining for CS:GO. It’s hard to believe someone is playing 128 frames per second on a 50 kb upload speed.

500Kb/s equals kilobytes per second, also known as 0.5 megabytes each second, while 200Kb/s corresponds to kilobytes per second.
