Major problem: Zen 3 motherboard BIOS issues (UPDATE: FIX DISCOVERED! 1933MHz WORKS)
Also checking discussions on official MSI Reddit threads about this. I'm hoping they might provide an update soon. I've been reviewing posts across both AMD and MSI communities regarding the problem. Compiling a list of boards that have reported similar issues: B550/X570 Tomahawk, X570 Unify, B550M Bazooka, X570 meg ACE, X570 Gaming Carbon Pro.
This situation has happened before on MSI boards, which is why I avoid them.
They might need a little understanding, their facility is quite intense...
Occasional updates suggest this problem appears on other motherboards, possibly indicating a broader concern. I've gathered around 20 cases so far. If you own a 5000 series or 500 series board with RAM confirmed to support speeds over 3200, you might try applying an XMP profile exceeding 3200. Check for WHEA warnings in OCCT, AIDA64 stability checks, and Windows Event Viewer. Severity is clear: sometimes just WHEA errors, other times combined with latency or no post.
Works well on my B550 Gaming Carbon with carbon running RAM at 4000mhz paired with infinity fabric at 2000mhz using timings 16-17-15-15-34 1t.
It seems I'm encountering some errors. It's been a bit inconsistent, but it's been okay so far. Thanks for your understanding!
