Lowering the clock speed of RAM
Lowering the clock speed of RAM
These numbers vary because of different factors influencing the situation.
The system is showing incorrect window information. The RAM speed isn't 5200MHz but operates at 5200MT/s. DDR RAM performs two transfers per cycle, so it's functioning as advertised. It can be confusing since people use different terms, but your RAM appears to be running correctly. What model do you have?
A laptop with unclear performance should work fine. Someone familiar with RAM could provide additional details, though I’m not very experienced with it.
It's operating at XMP, but a JEDEC 5200MT/s would be extremely high. Check if you can boost the MHz or reduce the CAS Latency (CL)—higher MHz and lower CL mean better performance. The RAM 5600CL34 is inferior to 6000CL34, which in turn is worse than 6000CL30.
99.7576 BCLK paired with a 26 memory multiplier. If it's the RAM the laptop includes, it comes with its running JEDEC standard. You can find 2x16GB kits up to 6400MHz here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technolo...B0C3J1GC17. I’d suggest going for 6000MHz since it’s likely you won’t be able to use the full 6400MHz anyway: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technolo...B0C3HS9JVQ
You bought a laptop with DDR5 RAM but it only runs at DDR4 speeds. It’s unclear if this is normal, but I’m planning to wait until someone more experienced can help.
