Low FPS Issue ?
Low FPS Issue ?
Hey everyone,
I've been studying this problem for a while and I'm hoping someone can help clarify things. I've encountered similar issues before, but with Black Ops 6 it's resurfaced. My setup shows normal CPU and GPU usage (50-90% each) and around 120-140 FPS when starting the game. However, once I load a game, those numbers drop sharply to 5-15%, and the frame rate plummets to 23-25 consistently. Even changing display or graphics settings doesn't help—I can run the game at 720p with 27% render resolution and minimum settings, or up to 2k with 200% render resolution max settings, without any change.
I've checked my specs: CPU at 3800x OC, Lian Li 360 Galahad AIO cooler, MSI MPG x570 Pro Gaming Carbon Wi-Fi motherboard, 64GB Trident Z RAM at 3200MHz, WD Blue 500GB SSD for boot and Samsung 990 Pro 2TB for games. GPU is Radeon RX 6800 XT with Adrenalin 24.10.1, and I'm using a Corsair RM750x PSU (about 5-6 years old). My OS is Windows 11 Pro 23H2, and the monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G5.
The Black Ops 6 benchmark reports an average of 100 FPS with a 50/50 bottleneck, but that's the only time it exceeds 20 FPS. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Upgrading to 5700x or 5700x3d will yield improved performance
Verify that the power plan is configured for performance. Also turn off GPU acceleration. Launch the Settings app, choose System, then Display. Go to Graphics settings and adjust the default graphics settings using the slider. Disable hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. Restart your computer to implement the changes. This may impact games, particularly those with denuvo.
I verified the situation, but it seems I lack access to hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. This is likely due to the Radeon 6000 series not supporting it at this stage. I'm attaching a screenshot showing FPS, GPU, and per-core CPU usage during the incident for reference.
