In my genuine view the gtx 1070 offers the best value for money. I plan to check around but you should too. There were some excellent offers recently. I spotted the Evga Black and the Gigabyte G1 for 379$. That clearly represents the best price for performance. I have a friend using an FX 6000 series with a hexa core OC up to 4.6, which helps avoid bottlenecks on his 1060. However, your CPU might perform slightly better. If you're gaming on a 1080p screen, you'll likely be satisfied with a 1060. But at the moment I think you could easily find a 1070 at a price that justifies the cost. I know today on Newegg there was an MSI QuickSilver 1070 for 399 with a $20 rebate, bringing it down to 379$. It's a gaming PC build I believe in. It's definitely worth $379 if you're staying under $400. As long as you're spending less than $400, the gtx 1070 remains a much better choice. I think even if a bottleneck develops, you'll still get more performance from a 1070, which will save you from needing to upgrade later.

In my view the gtx 1070 offers the best value for money. I think you should check around too. There were some really good deals last week. I saw the Evga Black and the Gigabyte G1 for 379$. That’s definitely a great price compared to performance. I have a friend who uses an FX 6000 series with a hexa core OC up to 4.6, but it still causes bottlenecks with his 1060. Your CPU might handle it better. If you’re gaming on a 1080p screen, you’ll likely be satisfied with a 1060. But right now it seems you could probably find a 1070 at a price that’s definitely worth it.
