You might want to check official Apple sources or trusted software retailers for OS X Mavericks. Avoid third-party apps that claim to sell it, as they may not be reliable.

She's no longer at the shop? (It's still here, hidden behind some labels) What operating system are you using? Also, your recovery drive could be a Maverick. (By the way, why do you need a Maverick?)

It wasn't included in the recovery drive; it was shipped with Yosemite.

You haven't used a Mac since before that update; I can retrieve data from as early as Mountain Lion in the purchased section.

I’m limited to information from Yosemite. It’s great, do you have a dependable source for getting OS X Mavericks?

The only information available is that it’s compatible with Mavericks on the Apple website. When attempting to download, what occurs isn’t clear. It seems the process might require more than just Mavericks. You may reach out to Apple directly for assistance. Also, the need for Mavericks appears outdated, as it has known significant security vulnerabilities.

They claimed they wouldn’t hand it over and just told me to stop. Virtualization testing

Well then, there’s really nothing you can do. The best option is to look for an installer elsewhere. Mavericks isn’t supported anymore, so you can’t complain about missing it. It’s similar to getting upset because they didn’t have Snow Leopard available.

It’s unlikely anyone would have informed them about your goal to break the rules. You’re limited to the macOS versions they offer while they exist. After a new release, the previous ones remain accessible only to those who previously downloaded them. The safest option is to locate someone who can provide the installer. Interesting note: They still keep Snow Leopard in inventory.
