Hello, I purchased a 5 1600 and discovered it was an 8C/16T chipset, which is considered lucky. To improve performance, I upgraded to a B450 Tomahawk Max and followed some settings from videos. I managed to understand a few but struggled with details. I set Vcore LLC to mode 3, SOC LLC to mode 3, configured 1.36 Vcore and a CPU speed of 3.9 GHz. The results were great initially, but at 4.0 GHz it completed Cinebench once before crashing three times. I’m struggling to stabilize it even at 1.39 Vcore because I’m not very familiar with voltage settings. Would it be possible to run it at 4.0 GHz without too much hassle? I’d really appreciate any advice. Thank you!

The Ryzen 1600 isn't an 8-core, 16-thread processor. There might be a misunderstanding; earlier models faced challenges reaching 4 GHz, so keep that in mind.

Looking at CineBench and CPU-Z screenshots leaves me confused—I’m not sure how to respond, but I guess I’m lucky!

No something is wrong. It isnt like you bought a cpu and it magically grew new cores.

You acquired this chip from an unreliable source. It only has six cores and lacks the power to run an 8-core application. It seems you might have purchased it from a questionable website that offered engineering samples or attempted to scam you with a fake FX chip. An 1800X with overclocking could achieve around 1700 in Cinebench.

You can mention that across all programs it displays 8 C and 16 T, which seems inconsistent with what you're aiming for.
