Do you have a connection that supports more than 1gbe? I might just use a regular router and switch setup. I’m likely to get a separate router plus access point, and an OPNsense device would be ideal. If you prefer everything in one unit, this should work well.

The switch won’t function in this setup; you’ll need a separate Wi-Fi gateway. A 1GbE connection should work here, though running 2GBps with many processes may be challenging. Game downloads should still be quick.
