You own Gigabit Pro? The latest update they made was to 3 Gbps. If true, what router are you using? From what I gathered, the media converter they install to convert fiber to copper at customers' homes has a 1 Gbps Ethernet port and a 10 Gbps SFP+ port. So if you're connected via Ethernet, that's likely why you're not reaching your full speeds.
You have a home router that performs well and is near the top of the Wi-Fi range. The one you're using is great for your needs. What aspects do you appreciate about it?
They're discussing Docsis Gateways and the issue is about claiming 2Gbps speeds. Only one plan offers that—Gigabit Pro Fiber, which is costly. It's unclear what Comcast would use since they typically require a separate media converter from their router.
