Hey everyone, I’m trying to get a new router for the first time in a while. I don’t really know what I want—just looking for something strong enough for a medium-sized home with around 5 to 6 devices connected at once. I need it to handle gaming and HD streaming smoothly. Any advice would be great!

The essentials for accessing those services are typically managed by your ISP and depend on your connection speed.

I receive around 10Mbps for downloads and 11Mbps for uploads. I’m not sure if that’s acceptable or not, but the test results indicated it was normal.

Acceptable speeds exist, but a solid standard requires upgrading with your ISP.

Currently, several devices are linked, which might affect accuracy. Testing from the opposite side is also in progress.

Be honest, I don’t have that information. I’m trying to find this router for my parents since their mom is working from home.

What version of the router are you using? Because the connection speed might limit its performance even if it's up-to-date.

As @Kanna mentioned, I'd check your connection speeds. If you're on a 10down/10up plan, you should be fine—just limited by your ISP. But with a 100down/25up plan, you might be experiencing problems.
