It's no surprise my mom believes I have a unique skill for computers. She hasn't mastered programming yet, but she expects me to learn soon because the software world pays well. Regarding driver modding, I only worked with flashing dip8 chips—it was easy enough just removing them and reinserting them into the BIOS programmer. As for breaking boards, I didn’t desolder the BIOS chips; I used standard test clips that are usually reliable.

Keep it brief while the chip remains connected. Modifying the NVIDIA driver is the plan.

Maybe I shouldn't have jumped into the discussion either. A fresh board is fine, but if you locate an affordable one that’s still workable—just something simple to repair with a quick dip or slight bend—then it’s definitely worth considering.
