I have a Corsair carbide Spec-01 with a Gigabyte B450 Aorus M motherboard. I'm searching for RGB fans and this is my first build. The board only has two fan headers (sys-fan 1 & sys-fan 2), but the case supports three. The fan I want is an Antec Spark 120mm RGB, which fits my budget. Can I connect all three fans to the motherboard?

You can't do it. You must use fan splitters and connect them in that manner.

Several Antec cases feature integrated RGB ports with headers leading to front LED buttons or allow you to install your reset switch. Beyond these options, you can obtain an Antec premium 120mm kit containing either three fans and two LED strips or a set of five fans that include this RGB controller—provided you have an additional SATA power outlet available.

You can find more affordable fans on aliexpress, and also buy splitters or Molex to 4-pin adapters.

These fans are designed for 12V, so a splitter can link two fans using a single header. They should run at full capacity if the setup is correct. Just make sure the wiring matches your system.

They seem significantly more affordable on Ali Express, though the delivery process would be quite slow, and I don’t have much tolerance for delays.

It’s not necessary to have the fan at the moment, and it should arrive in under two weeks.

Search for Molex adapters that fit 3 or 4 pins, as 4-pin connectors are compatible with both fan types.
