The issue isn't about money; it's due to an inexperienced technician who lacks proper knowledge.

Avast often uses a lot of resources and has made my parents' and a friend's computers crash. I had to reinstall Windows on one just to solve the problem, so I won't use Avast anymore.

It seems you're planning to install several updates to impress the owner and upgrade your design software. Your current setup with a 5400 RPM drive and a Celeron processor feels outdated compared to newer hardware.

She understands it's a terrible PC, but she can't grumble about the effort needed when a file takes 12 minutes to load. Also, I mentioned to him that adding more RAM doesn't speed up the system... he realized that on the day of learning SSDs were an option.

It seems like this person is really confused about technology. They’re questioning why CD drives are still relevant and expressing frustration over slow loading times.

he somehow connected nine servers in a single area of the office network, allowing access from other computers. this caused downloads to take a long time. also, a refurbished machine he got two months ago stopped working... who was responsible for that?
