Spec Ops: The Line and the updated Wolfenstein titles, perhaps with a twist like Maybe Dishonored.

I liked the updated Prey and would definitely suggest giving it a try. For fans of chaotic action sequences, consider Doom and Wolfenstein (the latest and the one from a few years back). They offer engaging stories, though they don't quite match the quality of the titles you mentioned—still enjoyable in their own way.

Shadow Warrior, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Bulletstorm – a bit of a rough story, yet the gameplay is solid.

You might enjoy the initial Far Cry title. It differs from Far Cry 2-5 and Primal, which were all developed by Ubisoft, as well as the later CryTek version. The first Far Cry stands apart from the linear, story-driven games from that series. I also don't like the Far Cry experience after FC1, though I consider FC1 one of the top FPS games ever released.
