Looking for a gaming experience?
My SSD is completely full, and I’m looking for a new beginning. I want to switch from Windows 10, but I’m not sure if it’s safe or compatible. My old laptop ran Vista, and I really like it, so I’m curious about trying it on my current system. Security and performance of games are important to me—I know it doesn’t support DX12, but that’s okay. Thanks.
Windows Vista isn't supported anymore since April, and it doesn't get any more security updates. To stay safe, you'll need to switch to a newer Windows version if you want protection.
It's disappointing, but I can try to make it resemble Vista as closely as possible.
Sure, I can help with that. Adding a view portrait background and adjusting the taskbar to show small icons is ready.
Vista wasn't ideal for gaming, but you can transform Windows 7 to resemble Vista. Tools like UXThemePatcher help you apply a Vista-style theme to Windows 7.
