Consider using Windows 7—it's similar to Vista but improved. They fixed many issues Vista had, and it's still receiving support. Alternatively, you could try Windows 8.1 and add the Classic Shell for a proper Start Menu.

Windows 10 is ideal for gaming, yet a custom skins option can easily change its appearance if you prefer a different look.
