I enjoy Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, which are classic RPGs. My focus is on a particular game I think of, but I'm not sure about others. Just because these games have open worlds doesn't guarantee they're great.

I really enjoy RPG games with open worlds and linear experiences. Maybe because I've spent a lot of time in Korea, I find grinding especially appealing. The thrill comes from earning the best or most attractive gear, which is what I seek in an RPG. Few games offer that level of challenge for me. Everyone's taste is different.

Have you explored Guild Wars 2? I’d suggest starting with Dark Souls, though you already talked about it.
