My R9 380 isn't handling this well. The performance is terrible compared to Windows on WINE and many games, but there are no artifacts. Avoid that installer—it might be outdated, which could cause the system to install an old Radeon driver. Try Manjaro Live Distros instead, or if you need Arch, just stick with the Arch terminal only in Live Distros.

I prefer not to run games on Linux, so Manjaro sets up the same drivers.

It's a system adjustment, adhere to the guidelines on the archwiki regarding amdgpu versus Radeon; simply removing it won't work.

It will activate after a system restart—verify the alternative driver is present to ensure video output works. When the package identifiers match arch, proceed with installing xf86-video-amdgpu instead.
