I just set up my girlfriend with a computer and everything went smoothly. I had some parts from my old PC, but when I turned it on the motherboard light came on yellow and it didn’t send a signal to the screen. I tried unplugging everything and putting it back in, but nothing worked. I also checked the RAM slots, but they didn’t respond. I changed the GPU slot and still faced issues. I tested it at home before coming here and it functioned properly. Now I’m unsure what to do next. The new components I bought are an SSD, CPU, and RAM. PC build details are listed above.

The yellow indicator on ASUS relates to RAM; ensure it's securely connected. How many RAM modules do you have? Confirm your slot positions (2nd and 4th from CPU) if only two are available—adjust accordingly. The processor requires memory initialization, so wait a few minutes after booting before restarting or further troubleshooting. https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/So...?model=TUF GAMING X570-PLUS

For safety, refer to the motherboard manual. It will display all warning signs and beep codes if any are present. The RAM slots should be installed correctly; some boards use slots 1 and 3 instead of 2 and 4, but 2 and 4 are the most common in about 70% of cases.

You've tried it for ten minutes, but the yellow indicator remains on the motherboard and connection to the screen isn't working. You're able to access BIOS now.

You can try using another computer if you have access to one nearby.

remove the RAM and reinsert it, if it fails, move to the following slot, and keep going until you reach the final one.

I'll look for alternative options since I need to purchase something.
