I've included the attached photos of my measurements. My computer is an IBM System X3650, unfortunately it's no longer working, but I intend to construct a new LGA 771 system using components from this machine. If the details aren't accurate, please let me know. I shared this information because details about LGA 771 are scarce—I hope it helps.

A quick online lookup provides the precise dimensions… 38.1x81.28mm

I shared this since I couldn't locate the measurements—it's possible my board isn't standard, which is likely. Much of the searching produced irrelevant or no useful results

Your setup is typical, but your hole dimensions are slightly off. The standard spacing from center to center is 38.1x81.28mm. Check the LGA 771 guidelines and look for “mounting spacing” in the descriptions of the top results.

I checked from the hole's center, though it might not appear that way. My Google searches didn<|pad|> to return no useful links.

the photos are not aligned center to center… this is literally the first result with the search I said to do https://hardforum.com/threads/an-adventu...1.1599060/ mounting spacing isn’t hard to find there

It wasn't found in the Google search results. How challenging is that to grasp?

It’s the top match when you look up what I mentioned. It isn’t your responsibility if you’re struggling to find the info—this is the first result in incognito, meaning it’s not a curated search.

You're using a standard tape measure for hole spacing, which isn't precise enough for detailed tasks. I wouldn't rely on these measurements.

I should likely look for a more precise tape measure, though I already have one. I’ll remember to note that down.
