Interested in returning to video games, prioritizing solo experiences.
Quake 1 through 3, Unreal, Portal.
Those times have passed.

I’m anticipating Dark Souls 2 to have its cost reduced, even though it’s a subpar adaptation, as I thoroughly liked the initial installment. I'm also excited about The Witcher 3, and the first two installments are truly exceptional works.

Recently, I acquired The Witcher and The Witcher 2 through a promotional offer several months ago, and I haven't had a chance to play them yet. Regarding Dark Souls, is it possible to enjoy the experience without utilizing a gamepad? It appears visually impressive, but if I were to use a controller, I would have simply purchased a gaming console. Honestly, I’m surprised you didn't appreciate Mass Effect; did you find Dragon Age Origins enjoyable? As for you, HawkEye, I thought Assassin’s Creed 4 was incredibly entertaining myself. I also greatly enjoyed Splinter Cell: Blacklist – both were included with my graphics card. Furthermore, I received a Batman game alongside the card, but it only took me about an hour to determine that it was a poor quality title and subsequently remove it from my system.

It’s been reported that individuals can engage with Dark Souls utilizing keyboard/mouse; a modification exists to facilitate this, however, in my view, it's significantly superior when controlled by a gamepad.

AFG I’m astonished you weren’t a fan of Mass Effect. Were you pleased with Dragon Age: Origins?
I was.

Yes, it is possible to play Dark Souls without a controller, although it appears much simpler with one. After examining the keyboard and mouse controls, I connected my Dualshock.

Is Dark Souls playable without a controller? It looks great but if I wanted to use a controller I would have bought a console
😀
The first one? Yes, it's playable once you install DSFix and DSM fix for it. I finished it a while back. Really an amazing game. Also, which batman game was it that you didn't like?
Right now, not playing anything, though I have like eight backlogs left that I have to fire up and finish.
I played 'The Wolf Among Us' a few weeks back. I waited till all the episodes were released so that I could get more continuity for the story. It was so spectacular story-wise. The background score was superb and the decision making really interesting.
I played Black Flag a few months back. It was the next best AC game for me after AC II and Brotherhood. Really looking forward to Unity.

The game *Batman: Arkham Origins* felt incredibly monotonous and dull. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I were a greater admirer of the source material, like the comic books or the overall series. It was my initial and final experience with a Batman title.

Despite your lack of enthusiasm, I found it quite enjoyable. Perhaps you’d appreciate a visit to Arkham Asylum.

Batman: Origins proved underwhelming; it was largely similar to Arkham City with an added zone appended. I believe the series is beginning to fall prey to Spectrum and escalating power levels.

I suggest playing Asylum instead – City will simply feel like a repetition of what you experienced in Origins, and this approach maintains the proper timeline.

A game I recommend is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. You absolutely require a controller to play it due to its distinctive control system; the emotional impact at the conclusion was incredibly powerful—few media products have genuinely moved me to tears so profoundly.
