Check probuilds.net for the champions you're interested in and observe what pros use. Since I haven't played recently, I'm unsure about the current meta.
But searching each person's individual champ would yield many varied outcomes. I only have two rune pages, so I need one solid page for AP champs and another for AD champs.
The symbols tend to stay the same across various AD and AP champions.
It varies by champion. Ranked games add another layer—your opponent in the lane or the whole team can influence choices like armor or health seals, magic resist, or cooldown reduction glyphs for different playstyles. These are typically the runes used per category (unless scaling isn't mentioned, it stays consistent). Red (Marks): AD, Armor Pen, Magic Pen, Atk Speed Blue (Glyphs): Scaling MR, CDR Yellow (Seal): Armor, Scaling Health, Scaling Mana Regen Purple (Quintessence): AD, AP, Atk Speed, Movement Speed, CDR Honestly, it mostly comes down to your champion.
In ranked I I mainly focus on ADC Jhin, Jinx and similar characters. Those runes work well for ADC.
