Recently I've experienced frequent frame drops in games such as Counter Strike. The issue starts with a drop from 299 to 45 and then reverses. After a fresh Windows 10 reinstall and driver updates, I suspect the problem might be related to my motherboard. Despite previous stability, this has become a recurring issue. Here are my details: Operating System Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU AMD FX-8320 RAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 535MHz (8-8-8-20) Motherboard ASRock N68-VS3 FX Graphics 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 260x XFX Storage 119GB Crucial_ CT128MX100SS SCSI Disk Device (SSD) 931GB Seagate ST1000DM 003-1CH162 SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 465GB Western Digital WDC WD50 00AZLX-00CL5 SCSI Disk Device (SATA)

It seems like the GPU or CPU is slowing down because of heat buildup.

During play it can reach a peak of 65°C on the GPU and the CPU hits around 55°C

I tested it right away via DM, but it didn’t seem to work since I already do comp matches. I’m not keen on extra mouse lag. Appreciate the effort!

Have you uploaded your GPU? I’ve faced similar issues before when I pushed it too high.

I believe this might be related to my motherboard. They said it could manage my processor well, but after purchasing it, it failed to handle the 8-core configuration. I disabled two cores as they were designed for 6 cores, yet performance remains poor. It’s possible the board was damaged or burned out. I’m not sure what’s going on.
