It might also be due to poor optimization. I'm aware that some of my games perform worse in FPS compared to newer, more demanding titles. For instance, Battlefield 4 manages around 70-80 FPS, whereas Battlefield 5 reaches 90-100 FPS. Even older games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 maintain approximately 170 FPS.

Take a glance at a brief period. The interior's cleanliness matters a lot since dust on the CPU and fan can hinder performance. Also, verify if it becomes excessively hot; if so, replacing the fan might be necessary.
