I have a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x (X Elite CPU) stuck in a boot loop after a Windows reset. I've tried accessing BIOS but it keeps restarting. The SSD has been removed, but can I really perform a clean install? Is it possible to use an installation drive with Windows 11 ARM? For reference, when I power on it, the graphics console appears and it reboots instantly.

Located a discussion about a comparable issue. A suggestion was made to access the BIOS via the button at the bottom. The issue ultimately involved a stuck power button, as noted on the forum page: https://forums.lenovo.com/topic/view/1516/5077232

I believe the button isn't stuck, it looks loose. I'm also unsure if the device is fully off since my FN lock key keeps lighting up.

Turn off the device using the power button. The small button with a white light on the side should be on the right side, as shown in the pictures you found online.

It seems the power button keeps triggering the caps lock light and starting a boot cycle even when the PC is off. You're trying to check if the button might be stuck inside, but it works fine when pressed normally.

It might be best to reach out to support and attempt an RMA. If the issue isn’t stuck and you can’t even access the BIOS, chances are limited options remain.

I considered a fresh setup but didn’t know the best way to do it on the ARM device. Since I can connect the SSD from my laptop, it works fine and shows Windows install files, but I’m unsure what to do next.

You can obtain Windows 11 ARM 64 from Windows Insider and set it up on the target drive. After removing the SSD, does it still start? If yes, this is unlikely to resolve the issue.

It doesn't work that way; the system leads you to a menu for choosing a boot drive.

That works fine. You might want to reinstall the arm64 win 11 version, or at least make a bootable drive and attempt recovery from there.
