What about RAM settings? If you're using an 8GB stick, performance might be poor because single-channel bottlenecks CPU speed. Make sure your motherboard supports OC clock if possible. Using a dual-channel setup can boost performance significantly. CPUs typically handle around 105 MHz, but going above that is mostly luck. With a Z-series RAM, you can add +4 to the multiplier and pair it with OC clock and DDR3 speeds near 2200 MHz or similar.
